Lynx The Tinto is a richly layered red blend from Franschhoek Valley, South Africa, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Mourvèdre, Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Grenache, and Pinot Noir. It shows aromas of blackcurrant, cedar, subtle mint, violet, and dark fruit. The palate is opulent with a smooth tannin structure. Unfiltered, perfect to enjoy with wagyu beef burgers or pizza.

Composition

30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Mourvedre, 12% Shiraz, 9% Petit Verdot, 3% Grenache, 3% Pinot Noir

Cellar

Harvested early in the morning and cold macerated for 6 days at 11˚C. Fermented for 8 days with 5 pump-overs per day, 8 days of maceration after fermentation. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 39 barrels produced.
